MEDIA EXPOSURE

Media support is very important to any charity event, but especially to the TICNIC Ride for Tourette's.

One of our main aims is to raise awareness of Tourette Syndrome within the community and schools to help children and adults with the syndrome find easier acceptance and inclusion.

Our secondary aim, is of course to raise funds to support the Tourette Syndrome Association of Australia [TSAA] to help fund the annual camp that they provide to children and families affected by TS.

Bailey has Tourette Syndrome. So does his dad.
There are many misconceptions about TS – it isn’t only swearing or shouting uncontrollably.
9-year-old Bailey and his family want more awareness about the neurological condition in schools so teachers can support students.
They are also raising money for the national Tourette Syndrome Association of Australia, Inc. camp that is held every year for families....
They are organising The Ticnic Ride for Tourette's which is a motorbike ride in the Hunter Valley.
